hey some of you locals that post on this board, share equipment split sets. Who gives a fuck if they say no more bands? AYCE and Dude Nukem do you guys really play longer than 15 mins anyway? Usually they give every band 20-30 mins to play. Let Ramming Speed hop up mid set play some tunes or just cut your sets short a little.
I remember seeing Dillinger 4 in the 90's and some band from far-away-Missouri tried to get on the show and failed. Mid set D4 said, "these are friends who couldn't get on the show." said band ran onto the stage as fast as they could and immediately started playing. I've always thought that was the coolest (nicest) thing.

Bands pay heed. Do not play longer than 15 mins. Hit 'em hard, leave 'em wanting more. Don't overstay your welcome. It's like that band that chooses a 3 minute cover song. For the first verse to chorus everyone is going nuts; dancing and singing along. Then as the song goes on the participants shed to the sides until you're left with one really weird (possibly mentally disturbed) guy that is still going off, and who will probably be the first to bombard you after your set about how great a choice that cover was and how he is your biggest fan. 2 Bands later he's still standing next to you talking, still on his first breath, and you're thinking of creative ways make yourself deaf.
I cannot watch a band for longer than 15mins. Even stuff I REALLY like.
