WHAT A CRAZY EVENING OF FANNY EXPLODING LOUD MUSIC! AND ON A SATURDAY NIGHT TO BOOT!
So many good bands who to list first let's start with:
NEGATIVE DEGREE (Denver) who might this band be? Well it's the newest sensation coming out of the Mile High city. Rising from the ashes of Guns n Rosa Parks this band draws influence from many different aspects of classic American hardcore. They say 7 Seconds, Germs, the Freeze, but I'm not sure I hear those. Listen and judge for yourself

This band also contains everyone's favorite temporary STL resident MARK MASTERS! returning for one night to impress the ladies and kiss the dudes.
EGO COMPLEX (Denver) I was lucky to get an mp3 of one of their rehearsals a couple months ago and was quite impressed. Not much is known about these gents other than their tape sold out very quickly on the Youth Attack site with this as it's description, "Stupefying new HC outfit hailing from Denver, CO, trampling through four ravaging rippers in a perfect stripped down manner. Excellent raw production, catchy riffs, and gruff, well-delivered vocals." Word has it that they changed their name to "Civilized." Watch them play to a bored bar crowd here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lODqJZ18jHA
MUCH WORSE (MN) blazin' buffalo wings! This band is all over the place. Noisy yet technical. An American hardcore influence yet you can hear the Japanese. Then along with that you can still pick out a little Scandinavian influence. Wowzers. Check out their latest 7in on No Way records if you can still find it

BRAIN TUMOR (MN) Another interesting band from MN! what the hell are they doing up there? Done recording their 7in for Fashionable Idiots with the great Matt Castore of Condominium/Formaldehyde Junkies fame, these guys are delivering hardcore that take you from point A to point D and you have no recollection of stopping at B or C. check 'em here soundcloud.com/brain-tumors
CARDIAC ARREST usually I just put something smart ass here, but dare we mention something worth saying. It's becoming a long running joke/myth, but CA will be playing the new LP from start to finish at this show. We have not decided when we will play all these songs again in one set. Some may never be played live again. guess you'll have to roll them dice.
@ the mighty El Lenador! 8:30pm til whenevski. The price might fluctuate from $5-$8 depending on what mood I'm in at showtime. Always remember, if money is an issue contact me before the show not haggle with me at the door. This will save me the trouble of me having to make up something stupid for you to do on the spot in exchange for the money you can't pay. SPREAD THE WORD! SEE YA THERE!
ps.
drink specials?? one can never guess what Mr. Vegas has up his magical sleeves.
