And also according to that wiki there is a remake/prequel in the works! Fuck! I bet it will be worse than escape from LA.

yeah remakes are never good. Although Escape from L.A. was rad as hell. Hopefully Carpenter and Russel team up to make Escape From Earth.

I haven't seen it since it came out in the 90's but I remember LA being turdlike. Perhaps I shall revisit.
