Alright, alright...it's back on. I'll figure something out, or just not have any locals at all. fuck locals. There's already 3 touring bands in a bar that's only charging $5 to get in and serving deep dish pizza and cheap beer. Not sure what else people need out of this I jumped the gun on my decision. I booked Lion of Judah and Give here with no locals and barely anyone came, just didn't want a repeat of that. I email'd Derek and Lemmons and told them everything was back on. Hopefully the turn out is good.

Stoked to see the dudes in unrestrained and anchor again. Honestly don't miss out on these bands, insane energy and live performances!

I threw out flyers all over the place and the 2 Keys show the night before, part of me thinks having it the same day as ETID and not having and locals messed up attendance but all in all the show went well. Bands got paid and fed, and everyone seemed to have a good time. I'm gonna start booking there more often, the Lemmons staff rules. looking to throw together a can food drive/free show in late December.

yeah i want to start doing a mixed-genre matinee every month or so, think it would be pretty cool and could happen for cheap You should. Brian and Paul are some of the easiest dudes to work with. As long as people respect them and the venue they'll let you get away with anything. (for those of you that didn't know beers were NOT supposed to have left the bar area. whoops) When No Class played there they literally brought the house down. Neil was swinging from the ceiling tile and it almost all came crashing down. I thought for sure they were going to spring a ton of extra charges on me. Brian came over, looked at the damage and said, "yeah, I think we can fix this easy." and still only charged me $40 for the show. Those dudes are psyched that people are coming and spending money on a sunday. If I could get that place to be all ages the rest of the time I'd probably do all shows there.
