First time seeing Orion Pax... Blew my mind... I saw them in a basement a few weeks ago. Very pleased with what I saw. Only caught one song from the doorway last night then our ride was leaving. Dudes definitely need to put out some mp3's soon. |

Had fun until I saw Hit List.
That's about when me and Jerry apparently started a ton of beef with a few of the, erm, gentlemen(*) that thought it was cool to get way out of control.

i cant thank everyone enough for last night. the timing couldnt have been better. this month has been a bit of a struggle. my van hasnt moved in a week now because it needs new brakes, and naturally rent is due this weekend. but anyway, i'm completely flattered and blown away that so many people would donate their time, energy, art, sweat, etc. for me and my family.
and i was reminded of what an important band LLBNF has been for my life. they came a long way from playing old creepy to maybe 8 people when i was 16 to their legendary status they hold now. there was talk about a reunion when i was first diagnosed two years ago, but it just kinda fizzled out. so i really never thought i would see that happen. thanks to everyone for making it happen.

And if i'm standing 50 ft away from a band; don't hit me. And don't hit my friends. And especially don't hit my lady friends. I'm an adult! Thank you! Don't get me wrong. I love seeing dudes mosh at shows. It means people are getting into it. But, if I'm standing less than ten feet away from the sound booth and some jugernaut comes plowing head first into me I feel like I've got the right to be pissed. Crowd kill rant aside, the bands killed and it was all for a good cause. |
