Come hang out with us! whats teh story on this venue? is it in the brewere or the old stables or what? and is it a "legit" venue, or will the cops be shutting it down before the first show is over? i hope paul pointer is down with this, because nothing happens on that block without his stamp of approval. |

it's right across the street from the demenil mansion. a bunch of bands practice in the space my band included and he has a room for shows. there has been quite a few already. i guarantee that it will be cool since there are always multiple bands playing there at pretty much any given time or day

it's also expensive to rent the show room out jimi the guy who runs the building charges $100 for the room and $2 a head which is why the show is $10

if im not mistaken this venue is the new "skoolhouse", though i guess not under that name. i think this is the same dude / operation that was going on there though. blackstar was not the man in charge, the sound guy jimmy was. he was telling me about this new place after the cross exam bday show there, saying he was moving. glad that got worked out

i know they're doing a show on the 29th &30th already.
it's pretty much same as the skoolhouse except the dope smoking is behind closed doors haha. i don't know many minors there.
